Happy hump day friends! When I found this affordable tribal print dress at Ross, I knew I wanted to do a blog post all about it! As many of you all know, I am always on the lookout for bargains when buying clothing. I always try and look low and high until I find the best deals (because who doesn’t want to find cute and affordable clothing!). If you read my post about my post-graduate closet purging, then you’ll know that I am trying to slowly but surely revamp my closet. I am now more strategic about the clothing I’m choosing so that I will have the items for a while- but I want to do this revamp in the most cost effective way.
It’s so easy to mindlessly shop, and next thing you know you’ve spent a whole paycheck without realizing it (guilty as charged). A prime example of this is Free People. This is by far one of my favorite brands, but let’s be honest, they are not always the most affordable. I don’t always have it in my budget to spend $250 on a dress, so I either wait until they go on sale or I’ll look for a more affordable option that will give me the same look. When I saw this beautiful and affordable tribal print dress in Ross, I knew that I had to have it!
Dress: Ross (Similar here, here, here & here– (all under $50!) | Shoes: Steve Madden (super affordable!) | Bag: Michael Kors (This one is currently on sale, this is an even more affordable option & so is this one) | Bag Tassel: Target (Extremely similar option here) | Earrings: H&M (Similar options here, here & here)
I love that this dress gives me the Free People look without me having to pay the price. One of the things I love about their brand is the beautiful tribal prints and embroidered dresses they have- but sometimes I’m just not looking to spend that much on one item. Luckily for me, tribal print dresses have been everywhere this season and it doesn’t look like they’ll be going away anytime soon. Finding an affordable tribal print dress was not an easy feat, so I was so happy that I was able to find this one at Ross. Have you ever had a picture in your head of what you wanted, but just couldn’t find it in stores? I knew I wanted a dress like this, but I just wasn’t finding what I wanted- and sometimes, you just want what you want!
In general, there are so many beautiful and affordable dresses out this season that are $50 or less! While I couldn’t find this exact tribal print dress that I’m wearing, I have linked many other affordable options! I try my best to invest in quality pieces, but I don’t believe in spending excessive amounts of money on trends that may not be around next year. Sometimes it can be a hit or miss, but stores like Ross, Marshalls, and T.J Maxx are great places to find affordable dresses for less than $20! You can even luck up and find some designer pieces for a fraction of the cost. If you are interested in this particular tribal print dress, then I’d encourage you to check your local Ross, T.J Maxx, or Marshalls to see if they have it! If you are in the Chicagoland area, I purchased mine from the Ross in Darien!
This dress is so perfect for summer and I’m so happy I was able to find it at Ross! The colors in this dress are so beautiful and vibrant, and between the tassels and the fringe trimming I was sold! Because I wanted the dress to be the statement, I didn’t want to go too heavy on accessorizing. I’ve had my tassel earrings from H&M for a while, and pairing them with this gorgeous tribal print dress and these comfortable wedges made for an all-around perfect look! Along with similar options for this affordable tribal print dress, I am also linking some of my other favorite dresses for the summer that are all under $50!
Thanks for stopping by!
